Virtual Dementia Tours
Thursday, March 21, 2013
You can see on our news page that we are partnering with several fine companies to offer Virtual Dementia Tours. The people who take this tour say they can never look at Alzheimer's the same. The Tour is a real-life simulation that allows you to experience the signts, sounds and feelings that those with dementia adapt to every day. I went through the tour for the first time recently. I was apprehensive about how intense it might be for me. I was skeptical about its value. The people who helped me get ready and who led me through the tour made it very safe. I decided after helping debrief other participants that it is indeed very valuable it is. Hope to see you at one of the upcoming tours.
